Links: A public file opens for anyone. A private file only opens for people signed into this workspace unless you send them a guest link — that works without signing in and lasts 7 days. Use the table below to change visibility, copy links, and more; see the icon key.
What the action icons mean
- Copy — Copies this file’s library URL to the clipboard.
- Quick view — Opens a simple preview for images and videos (this button is hidden for other file types).

Custom link — Set or clear a short ending for
the
/f/…address. - Globe / lock — When a file is private, the globe makes it public. When it’s public, the lock makes it private again.
- Guest link — For private files only: copies a time-limited link that works without signing in (7 days).
- Delete — Removes the file from the library and storage (asks for confirmation).
